While I have never claimed to an extensive background in science, I specialize in management and utilize those skills to keep our office at Abalone Coast on track and running smoothly. I have learned a lot about water quality in the 8 years I have worked here, and I’ve also learned a lot about people and how to successfully run a small business.
Family is the main focus of my life, so it’s especially enjoyable to work for a family run business. I get the pleasure of bringing my young son to work with me, and my clients love to watch him grow as they frequent our establishment over the years. I was lucky enough to meet my soul mate at the young age of 19, and 11 years later, my husband John and I are just as connected as ever and have two children who mean the world to us. Our oldest, Riiyah, is almost 12 years old and about to start Jr. High, and Zachary is 5 years old and about to start Kindergarten. As my family has grown, so has our business, creating the need to expand our work family.
It has been such a pleasure to work with my best friend Savannah in the office, whom I’ve known since we were just 12 years old. I love working in an environment that fosters such strong bonds of family and community, which is important in the water quality world and in my own world. Abalone Coast specializes in the customer experience, and each and every employee who works here cares about the environment and how it effects our local community, which I find extremely fulfilling. I have always had a love for working with and helping people, and I strive to make our business even more successful by treating our clients like family.
